The company
Hydritec Systems is a design and development engineering company of turnkey projects. It was founded in 1994 by its present manager, Thierry Ferrandon. It also provides consultancy and technical assistance in various aspects of the hydraulic sector especially in: Automated Spraying, High Pressure Vaporization, Water Treatment, Water Disinfection, Pumping Stations?
The company currently employs 30 permanent members of staff as well as several contract employees and subcontractors. Thanks to its high level of expertise, Hydritec Systems uses its know-how everywhere in Tunisia in the following sectors:
International achievements
At the international level, through its company Hydritec Internatonal, Hydritec Systems has already contributed in achieving different large-scale projects (automated spraying systems, treatment plants?) and boasts some highly significant references to its credit.
Currently, it aims at expanding quickly to new destinations such as the Maghreb countries, the Gulf, Sub-Saharan Africa?

Water management is no longer a luxury ? but an economic requirement!
African countries are now in full expansion. New technologies have emerged in various economic sectors, especially in tourism, agriculture and environment.
Among these, it is important to note the growth of automated spraying; a technique in full development. It contributes to:
- improving water management leading to much saving
- time and so energy saving
- achieving a more uniform and rational distribution of water required for plant development
An adequate implementation of facilities complying with the current standards and recommendations and an awareness of the specific features of each project is of high importance. Besides, an acute awareness of the difficulties likely to be encountered leads to positive results for future users.
Automated watering systems are user-friendly and accessible to all thanks to electronic or computer control units which are quite reliable and easy to use. The control unit is an important device of water management.
It keeps basic data and pre-established programs in memory enabling it to have automatic control of watering according to some key parameters such as:
- Type of plants
- Climate specificity
- Type of soil
- Layout of the surface to water
- Operational requirements
On another hand, the issue of water resources is a permanent subject of concern in semi-arid countries.
Budgets required for park irrigation with drinking water are too heavy.
When it is well controlled, domestic wastewater treatment is a highly profitable technique which may ensure 90 to 95% efficiency and allow water re-use after additional treatment.
Ultraviolet disinfection at the end of the treatment channel ensures total security in re-using the water.
Its environmental nature, its reliable production cost and the amazing quality of the water which may be obtained lead to anticipate a highly promising future in the field of water re-use for public park and private garden watering.
Modular and prefab treatment plants, with glass fibre-reinforced polyester parts, make it possible to have perfectly integrated constructions in a hotel complex, in communities or domestic sites for example.
Successful control of these facilities at the levels of both design and development leads to expect enduring efficiency for future generations.
